June 6th, 2022 at 6:27PMThis isn't true. Mind and body. Subject and object. Consciousness and existence. No you. No truth. Reality is reality, even if no one believes in it, and bullshit is bullshit, even if everyone does.
(I prefer "bullshit" over "lie" because it allows for honest errors and I believe most of us are victims of a lack of variety[?] in education.)
"Truth" is a concept based solely on your perspective on reality, your view of it, which is a "belief". If you take away that perspective, your consciousness of whatever, not just on "big" things, but on "little" ones as well, you don't take away the reality, but you do take away the concept of "truth", along with every other concept, of course.
Existence exists whether you're conscious of it or not. That's the "objective" in "objective reality". It means whatever you're conscious of exists separate from your consciousness of it, and this "separateness" has unfortunately led even the best thinkers in history to choose one "side" over the other.
It's just bad epistemology... 🥱
