There's a difference between false empathy and the lack of it. We fake empathy to control each other, and that works both ways. Why then would anyone fake the lack of it? It's impossible to really lack it, unless your deaf, dumb and blind, literally can't communicate at all, so if you fake it, that means either you don't know that or you think you're victim(s) doesn't. The only cure for narcissism is education.
