I'm against aristocrats and philosopher kings, authoritarianism and elitism of any kind, but in their stead, who makes the laws and who decides who makes the laws becomes a responsibility we all bear. Who can claim they have the right to make the choice for someone else to physically alter his or her body or not without granting to someone else the right to make the same choice for them? Impeding or preventing sexual transitions by law is the same as forcing sexual transitions by law.
