Alexandra Petri on a Supreme Court ethics code
May 7th, 2023 at 10:47PMWhat's the incentive for giving a supreme court judge a gift? Aren't they supposed to be the least susceptible to that shit? If I wanted to influence a supreme court justice, I'd simply offer him a better argument. The thought alone that we need an ethical code for the supreme court implies no one is worthy of the responsibility.
