Should I Read Physical Books or E-books?

Arbitrary formatting stifles creativity. Rather than one standard ebook format for a thousand devices we need one standard device for a thousand ebook formats. That's why I always settle for presenting (distributing) my work on my own website rather than all the services. For serious artists, "Web 2.0" was two steps backward after web design was one step forward. The manufacturers and app makers are setting the standards like traditional publishers used to -- because that's where the customers are. Never mind the fact I prefer to do things my way, if I have to make my product fit them all, then I need as much control as possible, and none of the publishing services (social media, POD, even website makers) even come close to providing the tools to create what I can with a simple text editor and a browser. Digital is infinitely better than print, but we haven't taken advantage of its potential. Blogs and videos, all I see is blogs and videos...
