Do The Pentagon Leaks Prove Atheism? w/ Paul Thigpen

June 15th, 2023 at 2:28AM

Why do theists see atheists as competition, as if both scientific approaches to understanding reality can't be valid? Atheists don't believe in God. God is the alleged source of the ready-made philosophy (religion) theists must accept and follow fully without question. Atheism, therefore, to theists, is the fundamental denial of all beliefs. Anyone who doesn't believe in God, theists believe, believes in nothing.

But can anyone really believe in nothing elemental? Does anyone actually believe anyone could exist successfully without abstract principles consistent with reality to guide them? Should moralistic theist authorities monopolize ideology as if it's even still a controversial cultural discussion when there are atheists whose very existence unequivocally demonstrates the alternative epistemological method efficacious?
