The Reality of Evil
June 21st, 2023 at 9:00PMEvil's not a fundamental reality. Reality is absolute. In this context, since everything that exists can be good or bad for us, there's no point in saying evil is a fundamental reality because good is a fundamental reality as well. In other words, everything's a fundamental reality because reality is fundamental to everything.
What this actually means, if you really attempt to discern its meaning, to figure out what he's really referring to in reality, is that somehow good and evil exist, metaphysically, as forces or actors in the world, forces/actors we must somehow contend and interact with, as if we could talk to evil or give it a fucking birthday party or discover natural laws by which it is eternally bound and then we'll be able to control it or convince it not to be so mean to us anymore. Religious nonsense...
Now, is he for or against collectivism? 😁
Let's examine reality to answer this question, with three examples (off the top of my head) of things (both actions and objects) that only individuals can judge as good or evil: masturbation, career and zoning laws. (See above.)
