Free enterprise? 😂 The "free" means unforced, only voluntary economic relationships. (And, capitalism, FYI, means only voluntary relationships.) Who's he "lobbying" to, though? Social media users or the government? #TooBigToSucceed

The reality he's really at war with, however, is the fact the distinction between our online and offline lives never existed -- except, of course, when we couldn't possibly have "online lives". The problem of the majority versus the individual is merely more obvious when we're scrolling through our news feeds.

Right now someone is probably talking about Steven Crowder in a living room or bedroom or bathroom or at a lunch or dinner table or at the office or by a water cooler or in a chat room or on a message board or in a comment section or even in the next piece of content he or she is creating. That fact is not more likely to be true because of the convenience afforded to us by our communication tools. It's more likely to be true depending on the number of people who know who Steven Crowder is, sure, but there's not now nor has there ever been any doubt that most people will shit all over someone else's privacy to reinforce the delusion their own is protected. This problem, our obsession with each other's personal lives, is as old as civilization itself.

That's what's really scaring the hell out of everyone, too. 😂 Imagine something really embarrassing happened to you and you're worried someone will see it on you or whatever and then you see someone get blasted for that same shit on Twitter. The paranoia alone is a nightmare, but to actually witness it, to watch the spectacle of others, to whom it could also happen, join in, the knowledge that human behavior is so morally cannibalistic eventually compelling you to conform yourself with the denunciation or ridicule of that with which you actually identify but also honestly judge negatively, all in order to evade the punishment you believe you deserve: public shame, for something totally unintentional. 😉

Self-esteem and mob discipline (😂) are simply incompatible, and historically (witch hunts, lynch mobs, crusades, genocide, etc.) the majority has sided with the latter, so if anyone really wants to regulate "big tech" or to end "cancel culture", that's the fuel of which they ultimately need to be deprived, the (very religious) idea that individual sovereignty, self-governance, personal responsibility are myths. 👀
