February 19th, 2024 at 2:45AMIf the laws of nature come from anywhere, how do we know them? That's not coming from. It's coming to. The question itself is reversed due to previous (religious) explanations to much more vague forms of attempting to explain the unknown. Things in nature, reality, the universe, what-the-fuck-ever, act in a certain way, a way that's consistent with the way they acted the last time we observed them acting, and then at some point we're confident enough to think they'll always act that way, and so on with other things until we discover more abstract ("universal") ways that things act, and so on until we discover ways that we can apply to every single thing everyone ever has ever observed and then someone writes it down a sheet of paper...
