What did God tell theological scholars (😂) when they asked how we can disobey him? Does anyone who can intelligently form this question really need to study all the different answers? 😆 And if God needed to command us not to murder each other, isn't that proof shit did not go as planned?

What's the metaphysical difference between man-made laws and commandments from God? Authority, definitions, protection, investigations, judgments, enforcement, rehabilitation, punishment, deterrence... The criminal justice process may be more or less sophisticated depending on the religion/philosophy guiding its design, but the end result is the same. Criminals are bad for society, so we -- at least, temporarily -- remove them from society or restrict their access to its benefits.

I think morality -- ethics, good and evil, right and wrong, virtue/vice, etc. -- is more essential and important...
