3.16: What I've come to believe about faith❤️

Shit ain't this complicated...

Faith is belief without evidence. Reason is belief with evidence.

It's literally impossible to "believe" anything with faith or through faith or whatever because belief itself depends on one's ability to reason, on the ability to logically connect ideas to ideas to ideas while ensuring they stay connected to reality.

Faith, strictly speaking, is the willful renunciation of this ability, not merely confidence in some future outcome, not the failure to keep one's beliefs grounded, but the conscious choice to not bother, to "believe" in whatever without logic and proof, which essentially means (in reality) accepting someone else's beliefs -- the product of someone else's reasoning (😂) -- as one's own, otherwise...
