We owe them a trillion dollars. How is that even possible? If they have to pay us more in tariffs, they may as well just cancel the debt. And why not just do that anyway, because without them our debt will never be paid. It's a trillion fucking dollars! 😂

The tariffs are nonsense. They hurt government funding while destroying markets. Why not just raise tariffs a million percent? If they were really a magical cure for a country's affluency. And how do you find the optimum amount to charge when you're not actually involved in the real trades? You don't. You wait for businesses to fail or survive and then reassess your losses. Afterwards, it only appears like you have more "on paper", but in reality there's less shit to buy with the "profits".

I see everyone referring to all this tariff bullshit as "trade war", but it really doesn't have shit to do with trade. It's just governments competing for power over each other at their economy's expense.
