Progressivism leads to meaninglessness, conceptually. We can't just draw an abstract parallel from participation trophies in sports to "fake" good grades in vocabulary skills. Ultimately, none of that shit means shit -- in reality, only in our minds. That's how progressives really see the world.

In other words, Charlie Kirk's killer was not living out some heroic fantasy for the sake of a better world, justice for some persecuted social group, or even to prove his virtuousness to the virtuous. He did it to make the fantasy reality for himself, rather than change his beliefs accordingly, and now the (man-made) consequences of that action will only prove him right. He cares as much for his own (physical) existence as he DID Charlie Kirk's.
